About Us

The club was originally founded in 1940 to provide cricket for the former pupils of Queen Elizabeth’s Boys School in Barnet, but we have been an open club for many years, and welcome members from across the Barnet area and beyond.

The club currently runs 6 adult teams and 8 junior teams. The three Saturday adult teams play in the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League with the 1st XI in Division 1, the 2nd XI in Division 6B and 3rd XI in Division 10 South. When availability permits, we also occasionally field a friendly 4th XI on Saturday.

On a Sunday our 1st XI participate in the Hertfordshire T20 Trophy whilst our Sunday Friendly XI is typically a nice balance of youth and experience! Senior training takes place throughout the winter and summer on Thursday nights with players of all levels welcome to attend.

We run junior teams for boys and girls across a range of age groups with two U11, three U13 (including U13 girls) and two U15 sides as well as U17 and U19 Vitality Blast T20 sides acting as a gateway to adult cricket (alongside the Sunday Friendly XI). For all of these junior teams we provide both winter and summer training. For more information please see our Junior Cricket section.

The club celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2015, and a number of impressive results showed that the club is continuing to grow and strengthen with all teams currently playing at the highest level they have in the club's history!

We are always looking for new members to join our friendly club, so whether you are a junior looking to play, a parent or a more experienced player or coach wanting to join a new club, or just someone looking for a quiet place to have a drink and watch some cricket, come and say hello.
